A New Tool for Making Better Decisions

Making decisions is one of the most important and challenging tasks in any organization. To help you with these questions, we have developed a new tool called DecisionFlow. DecisionFlow is a Confluence app that guides you through the process of making decisions using the DECI model. The DECI model is a simple and effective framework that consists of four steps:

  • Define the problem: What is the goal or objective of your decision? What are the constraints and assumptions?

  • Establish the criteria: What are the relevant factors or attributes that you will use to evaluate the alternatives? How important are they relative to each other?

  • Consider all alternatives: What are the possible options or solutions that can meet your criteria? How well do they perform on each criterion?

  • Identify the best alternative: Which alternative has the highest overall score or value based on your criteria? How confident are you in your choice?

DecisionFlow helps you to apply the DECI model in a structured and interactive way. You can enter your problem, criteria, and alternatives in a user-friendly interface, and DecisionFlow will calculate and display the scores and rankings of each alternative. You can also adjust the weights of the criteria, compare different alternatives, and generate reports and charts to visualize and communicate your decision.
