Import / Export mind maps with EasyMind (EasyMind 2.11.x & 1.0.x-AC)

EasyMind allows you to import mind maps from other mind mapping software as well as export your mind map created in EasyMind


Please note EasyMind can import/export basic mind map objects. Other objects like pictures, links, markers, labels, etc are not guaranteed.

You can import maps from the following mind map software.

You can export the EasyMind map into the following formats.

 

Importing a map from other mind map software is an easy process that is completed by inserting an attachment to your Confluence page. For a detailed guide, please see how to insert an Attachment in EasyMind. 

  1. Add EasyMind macro to your Confluence page
  2. Select Import
  3. Select a file from your computer for upload
  4. Select the format of the uploaded mind map
  5. Click Upload button

After uploading a new file is added as an attachment to your confluence page (converted files will have .json file extension added). If you click on the filename from the list, EasyMind Editor will open.

If you wish to export your EasyMind map into any of the formats above, follow these easy steps:

  1. Display a Confluence page you wish to export EasyMind map from
  2. Open mind map into EasyMind View or Edit mode
  3. Open Export menu
  4. Choose the preferred format 
  5. Hit Export
